There are many accessories to consider for your wedding day.  They include jewellery, lingerie, shoes, headpieces, gloves and bags.  Jewellery items range from rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, brooches and tiaras - all together this is known as a ‘suite’. Many brides think a suite is a bit excessive and expensive and most combine two or three pieces. Wedding Lingerie Your wedding lingerie should be beautiful, glove fitting and comfortable beneath your wedding gown, making you feel sexy and confident.  It should mould and support your form, shaping your figure to its highest advantage. Bridal Shoes Your wedding shoes ideally should provide you with both comfort and match your outfit beautifully.  They will be carrying you down the aisle and peeking out beneath layers of satin and lace, so your shoes need to be both stylish and practical. Comfort for your wedding day will surely be one of the high priorities so if you don’t usually wear high heels, it’s probably a good idea to keep the heel low.  Also fussy straps can cause discomfort and check that buckles and other trimmings won’t "catch" on your dress and become a nuisance throughout the day.  Once you have found the perfect pair, remove any tags from the bottom of the shoes and take time to wear them in a little prior to the day.  Remember to also take them along to all your fittings so you keep your height constant for any alterations on your gown. Most brides opt for a veil attached to a head piece.  The style and length of your veil should compliment the style of your gown.  Styles of veils are varied and come in short, medium and long options. Remember to take your head piece and veil along to your hair appointment to assure that your hair style and head piece work well together. Gloves for the Bride Gloves add a glamorous touch with either short-sleeved or sleeveless wedding gowns. They come in a variety of styles and lengths. Depending on the measurement lengthwise of your sleeves, choose gloves that come to above your elbow, just below your elbow, between your wrist and elbow, or just to your wrist. Consider short gloves for long sleeves, elbow length with short sleeves, and chic over the elbows for strapless and sleeveless gowns.
